What time is the ceremony?
Good question.
Should I bring a gift?
No need to bring gifts and we don’t have a wishlist. If you see a funky pair of socks or a pretty flower that reminds you of us, you’re of course welcome to bring it, but it has to be able to fit in a car with two humans and two dogs, so no boulders, please.
Is there a dress code?
No dress code, wear whatever you want! We don’t know what the weather will be like on the day, hopefully we can do the ceremony outside, so you might want to leave your white suede heels at home.
Should I bring my kids?
We’d prefer to keep the party kid free, but you’re welcome to bring any and all offspring (human or otherwise) to the ceremony. If you can’t get a babysitter or can’t be parted yet, no problem.
Can I make a speech?
Please don’t. We’d like to forego long speeches, but if you want to prepare a party game, do a dance or something else, then please get in touch with our non-toast person Cecilie Ottosen on ceciliedall@gmail.com.
What’s the vibe?
We’re hoping to have a fun day and evening with our friends and family in casual surroundings. There will be some Danish wedding traditions, but no long speeches, no ball gowns and no stress. We don’t know when the party will end just yet, but we’d like to encourage everyone still standing to go explore the local værtshuse (pubs) after we close the venue.
Where should I stay during the wedding?
We recommend using airbnb or booking.com and checking for accommodation around Frederiksberg or Vesterbro. Copenhagen is a small city though, and it would take you approx. 30-60 minutes to walk to the park from most anywhere in the city – less with public transport, obviously.
